The Vans Era was a progression from the Vans Authentic, made for the skateboard market it took the classic silhouette that had been successful since 1966 and made a number of notable changes. The main difference is the padded collar and reinforced stitching to add extra resilience while skating. The shoe has a green and blue checkerboard canvas upper with a green front, white laces (spare blue laces) and a contrasting white rubber mid sole.
